Parking on the day/travel within National Park:

If you are staying externally to the park (e.g. Discovery Park / Cradle Mountain Hotel) it’s been recommended you call into the Park Visitors Centre, purchase your Park Pass and access the shuttle bus that runs from the Visitors Centre.

The “Interpretation Centre” bus stop is opposite Cradle Mountain Lodge, just walk over the bridge.

Alternatively, there is parking at the Lodge or Interpretation Centre.

Weather:

September's average maximum is 8°C, with an average minimum -1°C. Rain is very likely. Weather can change quickly from open skies to full cloud cover. Pack for winter -umbrella and/or raincoat recommended.

Park Pass:

All park visitors will need a Park Pass. This can be arranged online, at the Visitor’s Centre, or accommodation reception if you stay within the Park.
